It was peaceful, quiet and comfortable, which is exactly what l eanted

Everything l wished to eat but the birds were s nuisance..the staff helped to control the birds.

T'he only thing l would have liked is grab bar in the shower there was nothing to hold onto

Catering was buffet style and quite impersonal. Not a great place for quality dining.

We enjoyed the stay but we felt the hotel and the room in particular would benefit from an upgrade

Breakfast was fine. Gardens and pool were fine. Good view from room. Most staff were pleasant and helpful.

Hotel was shabby/tired. Not great value for money. Rooms were very old fashioned and could do with upgrading.

Our fourth visit to this wonderful hotel. The staff there are exceptional. Huge bedrooms and wonderful food. Superb grounds too.

Very Good

Lovely big rooms, great pool area, very good selection and quality of food for breakfast, staff very nice , attention to detail. Programme was very good, little one enjoyed it.

It states it is a king-size bed however it's 2 beds pushed together. Toilet door didn't shut properly so we had no privacy there. We had bed and breakfast but tried their dinner buffet once and were glad we didn't pay half board as it wasn't worth the value. La Veranda restaurant on site is overpriced and received the worst food there we've had all week.

Lovely and comfortable stay - will come back

The breakfast was good, absolutely no complaints. The hotel is situated in a lovely location. The hotel staff were definitely its best asset - so friendly, professional and helpful.

The air conditioning in the rooms was a bit too chilly for me.

Exceptionally clean, lots of facilities catering for all ages, fantastic value for money. We felt so welcomed by the staff.

Location felt a little isolated (although this may be the nature of the island). We didn't find a lot of quality places to eat or drink in the nearest town

Super Service and great Hotel

Spacious, clean, and very nice hotel grounds. Breakfast was excellent in terms of both the quality of the food and the variety. The staff was very friendly and we felt the service was fantastic all around.

The door to the toilet in our room was made of glass. Who decided that was a good idea???

Nice.

Room was spacious an had a geat view.

Smell of the chlorine in the room, on the corridord and at the Spa!!! Food could be a better quality. Bread was Lidl quality, meat and vegetables were supermarket quality. Very little local food.

Great location and very friendly staff - super clean and rooms very generous

Food wasn’t great - except for breakfast which was excellent. We booked a sea view room and this was on the ground floor so couldn’t see the sea on our terrace unless we stood up to look over the wall

Not crowded, plenty space by the pool, staff is superb, a lot of polite attention, prices are reasonable at the bar ant restaurant.

Quality of the food, just compared to other Fuerteventura hotels, simple things, like fresh fruit- little variety and was kept it the fridge precut, absency of peanut butter. Also sunbeds were not most comfortable.

Much better than we had expected. A true Marriott.

The hotel staff were great. Tom, Elena, Carlota & Ameliana. They were all really polite and helpful. Everyone was to be fair, too many to mention. The room was lovely and spacious, bathroom nice and updated. Our room location made sure we weren't disturbed/disturbing others, they are accommodating if you actually ask. They left us a nice surprise in the room for my partners birthday. I can see where some would say the decor is slightly dated, but I noticed it seems to be the common vibe on the island when deciding where to stay... The location was ideal. A beach is on your doorstep, it's beautiful, water is clear and it isn't freezing. Loads of crabs and fish near the rocks! So lovely to see. Chipmunks too... Tooooo cute and friendly Only a short walk to the left OR right along the beach path takes you to shopping centres. A harbour on one side where you can book excursions, eat, watch and a nice gift shop. We done an underwater boat trip and rode a camel! They do have evening entertainment, it was a bit oldish for us, we are (early & mid 30s) but we did miss the first few days of the week where they had other things on also.???? A lot of the older generation at the hotel and families with young children. We saw some fun looking kids clubs going on when we were walking in and out of the hotel during the day.. I had steak and prawns most nights (chef section at the buffet). My partner had other bits. There was a selection. The restaurant by the pool was nice, veal was juicy! Staff there always nice too.???? It does tell you on boards around the hotel which restaurants are open on each day. I was honestly put off by some reviews I read closer to our arrival. (Only read the good ones when booking ) But once we got there I was so grateful that I had seen the bad ones, I really wonder how anyone couldn't enjoy this place. It was great for the few days we stayed.

Food was decent for what it was, but I don't feel we got our values worth.. Drinks being included would have helped a lot. They weren't expensive though.

Loved the island.

Staff very nice. Easy to hire car. Pools lovely. Breakfast nice. Fabulous location

Few small things! Dated decor, scruffy signs by pool. No meals or snacks in lobby piano bar. No USB plugs (standard nowadays) and not enough plug points by beds. Shower heads not clean, had to chase twice for robes.
